My bestest bud Hayley had a little boy a few months ago and now this little guy has finally met his favorite aunt Nikki. Shepherd is the chunkiest and yet cutest baby I have seen! Hayley is darling and I was so glad to get to talk to her (since we see each other once or twice a year). I think that the baby fever is spreading like crazy--especially when I get to see all of these cute babies that are already here (Katie Clark!). Oh and our cows are having babies and the first one I saw I named Berkley because it's so cute! Happy spring. :)

Nothing New
Hi People we love!
It is blizzarding on this Monday night and I am blogging because Wes is watching House which is a creepy weird show. So even though I don't have anything to say, I am blogging you. I started Track and Field a few weeks ago and that has been fun but busy. I like being outside again, instead of inside doing boring things (Like grading papers and laying on my back). :) I truly am so grateful that our little baby is ok, even if it has meant laying on my back for a few extra weeks. Our cows are beginning to calf and I LOVE this time of year. It's heaven! :) And, as always we love our family and friends and we are so happy to be wherever they are. :)

Compliment or Insult?
So I have been sicker than a dog lately (thanks to the baby bean), and I figure it's a blessing I've even gone to school to teach--forget the fact that I look like crap. Today I actually felt good enough to straighten my hair and put some decent clothes on. One little girl in my class was quick to note the change. She said: "Mrs. Crandall, you look really cute today." I of course, said thank you. Then I said, "It's probably because I finally felt good enough to get ready today." Then she said, "Man you must not have felt good for a long time." To which the class all hastily agreed and then concluded, "but you still look nice today." Oh 14 year olds. What a blessing.

Pictures as Promised :)
Sorry it has taken me so long to get these pictures on here. We just barely got internet at our house again which is HEAVEN! :)
Nothing is really new around this place except for the fact that the February sunshine is helping me be a happier teacher this year. I don't know why, but January and February were so dark and LONG last year, I thought I was going to kill a student or something. :) But this year it seems like spring could be just around the corner and we all like the sound of that *except Wes who is an avid snowmobiler.
Anyway! Love you all and hope things are going well. Enjoy the pics! (Email me if you want more! (Deanna!))

Long Time no Write
Hey Everyone!
It is all I can do to keep this blog updated, especially when there is no time to do it. We have had quite the week this last week and we feel so blessed to be surrounded by family and friends that we love so dearly.
Wes's Grandpa passed away early this past week and it has been a bitter sweet experience. We know he is in a better place with his sweet wife, but we miss him so much. Wes has been working with Grandpa a lot, especially since he graduated from school, and we both loved spending time with Grandpa in Wyoming over the summer. We'll post some pictures as soon as we get our camera figured out.
I also had the pleasant opportunity to fall down my stairs and break my foot two weeks ago. What a pleasure it has been to be in a walking boot the size of Jupiter and have people gawk at me like I was the bearded lady from the freak circus side show. I have enjoyed wearing the boot all day long, and (ask Wes) I never complain about it. :) We also have pictures of this pleasant experience, and we'll post as soon as possible.
Love you all and we are grateful for the wonderful loved-ones you are!
